The Vosgean Club is a recognized association public utility having for goal:

  • the promotion and the development of pedestrian tourism and other activities of full nature
  • the study, installation, the indication and the voluntary maintenance of 16500 km pedestrian routes.

The Federation of the Vosgean Club is the reference for the excursion in the 7 departments of the East of the France (the Moselle, Meurthe-et-Moselle, the Vosges, Haute-Saône, Territoire of Belfort, Haut-Rhin and the Low-Rhine).

It gathers:

  • 111 associations in 2006 (last club entered in 2005: Association of the CV of St-Quirin and the Country of Both the Saar) and 18887 km of paths marked out by 763 voluntary baliseurs is 24,7 km marked out by balisor on average (or 171,7 km marked out by club on average)
  • 34000 members
