Volvestre
Geography
Volvestre is located at horse on the department of the Haute-Garonne and the Ariège and is wedged between the Massif of Plantaurel, Massif of Arize, the Comminges, the Lauragais and the the Garonne.
Country
Ancien country of the south-west of the France it is constity of the valleys of the Arize and of the Volp, it was the country of the Volques Tectosages, tribe Celte subjected by the Romains.

- In Haute-Garonne: in the the Community of communes of Volvestre and part of the Canton of Cazères
- In Ariège: in the the Community of communes of Volvestre ariégeois thus the cantons (Canton of Holy-Cross-Volvestre and part of the Canton of Farmhouse-in Azil),
