Volute
It is a reason for ornamentation, consisted a rolling up in form of Spirale S, and used in the ionic and Corinthian capitals. The layout of the volutes is carried out with a compass, the simplest volute is made of four quarters of circumference being connected to the one their ends of share an increasingly small ray. There exist several types of volutes:
