The Volontaires of the United Nations is an agency of the United Nations who deploys volunteers to support directly on the ground of other organizations of UNO. The agency, managed by the Program of the United Nations for the development (UNDP) and with its seat with Bonn in Germany, uses offices of the UNDP in the countries where he works.

Since 1971, more than 30.000 volunteers worked with the VNU in more than 140 Developing country.
