The Volcan of Garrinada is located in the town of Olot (Comarque of the Garrotxa).

It has three craters:

1. in top, Mosquera;
2. in the center, Garrinada;
3. Bufador constitutes the lower crater.

It is thought that the eruption of the volcano, moreover little studied, will proceed in four phases. The first, of type Strombolian, will give rise to the crater of Mosquera. The second will be phréato-magmatic and will take place in the lower crater. The third will be also Strombolian, fascinating places in the central crater. Finally, the ultimate one and last eruption will result in a lava flow.
