Vltava
The Vltava (, in German: Moldau ) is a river of the Czech Republic, which takes source in the forest of Bohemia.
It crosses the Bohemia of the south to north to throw itself in the Elba after a course of 430 km; it passes by Prague and passes under the bridge Charles and it counts many powerplants.
Inspiration
The river inspired the type-setter Bedřich Smetana who devoted a symphonic poem to him in his cycle Má Vlast (My Fatherland). It is more known under its German name Moldau .
