Vladimir Yevgrafovitch Tatline (ВладимирЕвграфовичТатлин) - born in 1885 and died in 1953 in Moscow, is a painter and Russian sculptor constructivist.
It meets Picasso and passes by several artistic movements. He wants to materialize art with assemblies, assemblies and the death of the work of art of museum: work must take part in the life and take part in the construction of the world.
Its most famous work is its project for a Monument with the Third International, going back to 1919 - 1920 but which will never be carried out into large (it was to be a true inhabited tower). It also constitutes the emblématique work of the Constructivisme, whose Tatline was the principal inspirer. daN Flavin paid homage to this work in its series " Monuments for V.Tatlin" who includes/understands ten parts made up of 7 neon white.
