Vlaški C , in Serb Cyrillic ВлашкиДо, is a locality of Serbia located in the municipality of Žabari, district of Braničevo. In 2002, it counted: 1310 inhabitants.
Vlaški Do is officially classified among the villages of Serbia.
Geography
The village is located at 14 km in the north of Žabari, on the regional road Kostolac - Požarevac - Svilajnac. To 1,5 km the place known as is of Toček located on a river called Prilozac .
Vlaški Do is to 95 m below the sea level. In the neighborhoods rise the hills of Ornica (179 m) and Lokva (234 m). The village has: 2791 ha of grounds.
History
In 1467, the village had 14 hearths. At the 17th century, the village was located between the Resava and the Morava, at the place of current Prnjavor; it counted 12 hearths. But, because of the floods, it was recreated on the other side of Resava.
At the 19th century, Vlaški Do was moved once again on the order of Miloš Obrenović. The prince, in anger because a woman had forgotten to greet it, ordered that the village was rebuilt far from the road more to see it while passing.
Culture
The village has a school and a church. One celebrates Trojica, Vidovdan and Vratoloma there.
