Vivian Jenkins

Vivian Jenkins , born the November 2nd 1911, deceased the January 5th 2004, was a former player of Rugby Welsh, evolving/moving at the station of center then of back for the club of Bridgend RFC and for the Wales. After its career of player, he became a famous sports correspondent.

Career

Born with Port Talbot, Vivian Jenkins goes to school in Llandovery College of Carmarthenshire, and the Jesus College of the Université of Oxford, where it obtains selections for Varsity Match ( Blues ) in Rugby as in cricket. It starts to play Rugby with XV with Bridgend RFC like centers before evolving/moving like back against Newport at the request of its club at the end of 1932.

The Welsh selectors select it at this station only 4 weeks later the January 21st 1933, against the team of England, and its last test match was against the team of England the January 21st 1939. Vivian Jenkins disputed a test match with the British Lions, in 1938 in South Africa.

It cheek 14 matches like back. It takes part in 1933 in the first Welsh victory in Twickenham, and in the famous victory against the All Blacks in 1935 in Cardiff.
