Vittorio de Sica
The class of the Pinopsida is a class of coniferous which counts 600-650 species. They are characterized by generally small and always simple sheets and by an active secondary growth of the stem and root.
Many members of this group opened out periods Carbonifère S lower than the age Permien.
Conifers are most numerous of the alive Gymnosperme S and form large and relatively pure forests.
