Vittorio Valletta (Genes, July 28th, 1883 - Pietrasanta, August 10th, 1967) was very important direct industrial society, FIAT in particular.
Become chartered accountant, thanks to the frequentation of course of the evening, it passed its diploma to the Institute of higher learning of trade (become Faculté of saving and trade in Turin). He taught then in a school specialized in economy while working in a certified public accountant firm. He entered then to the service of a car manufacturer: Chiribiri.
In 1921 he is noticed by the senator Giovanni Agnelli, president of FIAT, and is engaged with the title of central director. He becomes Managing director of FIAT in 1928, then Managing director in 1939 and President between 1946 and 1966, date of his departure to the retirement. He will be replaced by Gianni Agnelli, small son of the founder Giovanni Agnelli.
It remains in the memory of the great men who made FIAT a true industrial empire on a world level as the man who rebuilt the company and its enormous expansion of the Années 1950 gave him. In 1966, after having yielded its place to Gianni Agnelli, it sear appointed senator with life by the President of the Italian Republic.
