Vittorio Monti (January 6th 1868 - June 20th 1922) was a Compositeur Italy N.

Monti was born with Naples where he studied the Violon and the composition in Conservatorio di San Pietro has Majella. About 1900 he became the chief of the famous Orchestre Lamoureux with Paris, for which he wrote several Ballet S and Opérette S.

Its only known work is Csárdás . It was initially made up for Violon, Mandoline or Piano. It was quickly arranged for all kinds of units, this air recalling to people the old Hungarian dances with the juxtaposition of fast and slow passages.
