Vitrified clay

Piping in vitrified clay is used exclusively for the underground drainage. It offers a good resistance to the Corrosion not being metal. Its compressive strength is compared with that of the Fonte and advantageously with the plastic. It must however rest on a uniform bed. Assembling can be with compression or mechanics. Door, its handling is delicate because of its least resistance than the cast iron to the shocks, and its weight much higher than the plastic.

It is available starting from 100mm (4 inches diameter up to 686 millimetres and as longeurs of 1.2 meter and 1.5 meter. The thickness of the wall varies 15mm with 60mm according to the diameter.
