Vitasi
Vitasi , in Serb Cyrillic Витаси, is a village of Serbia located in the municipality of Užice, district of Zlatibor. In 2002, it counted 301 inhabitants.
Vitasi is also known under the name of Šargan-Vitasi.
Šarganska osmica
The village is known for its tourist railroad to Narrow gauge railway which connects it to Mokra Gora. Seen sky, the line resembles a " 8" , from where the nickname which was given to him of Šarganska osmica , the " Eight of Šargan ". Formerly, the Šarganska osmica constituted a section of the line Belgrade - Sarajevo. Built in 1920, it was closed in 1974. The part currently in service was rebuilt between 1999 and 2003. A prolongation is envisaged until Višegrad, in Bosnia-Herzégovine.
