Visitors in America

the Visitors in America ( Just Visiting ) is a Franco-American film carried out by Jean-Marie Poiré (under the pseudonym of Jean-Marie Gaubert ) and left on April 11th 2001.

Synopsis

With the the Middle Ages, the count Thibaut de Malfete, French gentleman, is on the point of marrying the British princess Rosaline. But noble jealous makes drink in Thibaut a potion which gives him hallucinations temporarily; Thibaut takes Rosaline for a monster and kills it. Wanting to repair its error, it will see a magician who makes a potion to him to go up time. Its rider, Andre the Pie, tastes the potion before him. But because of an error of ingredients, Thibaut and André find themselves projected with Chicago at the end of the 20th century. Thibaut meets remote downward there…

The remake of the Visitors

It is about the remake of the French film the Visitors , of the same Jean-Marie Poiré. The realizer had already turned a continuation of this film, entitled the Corridors of time , and had projected to turn a third shutter. But he finally chose a remake of the first opus, of which he transposed the action to the United States.

Pear called upon Jean Reno and Christian Clavier, the main actors of original film and its continuation. Reno and Clavier find their respective characters of noble and rider. Nevertheless, one notes certain changes, to start with the names of the characters (Godefroy de Montmirail became Thibaut de Malfete and Jacquouille the Rabble became André the Pie).

Keyboard is in addition the coscenarist of these three films.
