Visible minority in Canada
The concept of visible minority is used with the Canada as well in the legislation as in the official statistics.
Article 3 of the Loi on equity as regards use of 1995 specifies that Font part of the visible minorities people, others that the autochtones, which are not white race or which do not have the white skin .
The " Guide census of 2001" Canada Statistics mentioned this warning: In the case of the people who belong to more than one group, notch all the suitable circles. not to register “Bi-racial” or “mixed” in the box envisaged .
