A virus with DNA is a Virus which has DNA in its Genetic material and does not use an intermediary with ARN during its Réplication. The viruses which have either of the ARN in their genetic material or use ARN as intermediate during the replication are called Virus with ARN. Their DNA can be is with simple bit (ssDNA) or double bit (dsDNA), the latter being most current.

The DNA with simple bit is usually promoted in double bit in the infected cells.
