Usually employed, for a data-processing presentation, allowing to simulate the visit of a site. The visual one representing the site will evolve/move dynamically, in interaction with the request of the user.
Il can act:
These representations are generally employed out of tools of sales force, or tools of collaborative design.
A virtual visit is made up of several panoramas connected to each other:
- The cylindrical panorama makes it possible to show a good or an environment by respecting the prospect (little photographic deformation), the visual angle is close to that of the human eye (approximately 50 mm).
- The spherical panorama, it makes it possible to see a place in its horizontal but so vertical space, it is adapted more to “prestigious” goods profiting from a volume in height interesting, example: a castle.
- The cubic panorama
An alternative of spherical projection is cubic projection. The images are assembled not to form a sphere but a virtual cube. They give to the spectators the possibility of being driven on 360° with horizontal and 180° with the vertical in a virtual cube.
