VirtualDj

VirtualDJ , successor of Atomix MP3, is a Logiciel of musical/video mixing (DJing/VJing) published by the company Atomix Productions. It takes the shape of two turntables associated with a central table of mixing. It includes/understands a bar of visualization of the state of the two audio tracks as well as the management of the playlist and the readings in progress.

Functionalities

The software includes two platinums (vinyls or CD), a Table of mixing, a playlist with function of research in the database and a list of musics to be prédéfinir. You see la/les track (S) in the course of the various turntables in a window of the graphic type which makes it possible to visualize quickly the curve (form of wave) of the sound on line. You can also carry out variable loops of durations.

The software deals with the following functionalities:

  • Reading of the ID3 Tags (Artist, Title, Kind, Year, Album, Comments, Key, Bpm)
  • System of filters for a research advanced in the automatic database
  • Calculation of BPM
  • automatic System of synchronization of the BPM between 2 titles (Beatmatching)
  • System of Car-Profit (automatic adjustment of volume)
  • Advanced system of Automix
  • To modify the appearance of the software to your own way thanks to skins (graphic preparing around a given topic)
  • Dealt with of the files audios: wav, half-value layer, mp3, flac, ogg, wma DRM and non-DRM, aac non-DRM,…
  • Dealt with of the video files: vob, mpeg2, mpeg1, DivX, mpeg4, avi,…
  • Dealt with of the files karaokes: cdg (with the Zip format also with a standard compression)
  • To add samples (sounds, noises…) at the same time as the music (siren, howl, small voices, sounds in loops…)
  • To add combinations of audio effects (various echo, flanger, filters,…), compatible plugins VST
  • To add combinations of video effects (Text, Boom Car, SlideShow of images, Sonic sonic, Camera, ClipBank de Videos, Titler of the titles as on MTV,…), compatible plugins Freeframe
  • To control VirtualDJ starting from external interfaces such as Hercules DJ Console, BCD2000, XP10, Numark DMC1/DAC2, DAC3, Numark iCDX, Numark Total Control, Numark DMC2.
