Virtua Fighter

Virtua Fighter is a Jeu of combat in 3D developed by Sega AM2 on Borne of arcade, Saturn and 32X. It is the first episode of the series Virtua Fighter.

History

Virtua Fighter is the first play of combat in 3D, it leaves in 1993 in arcade.

Gameplay

3 buttons (a: to avoid; B: fist; C: foot) only but the possible combinations make the number of blows and allowed sequences very important. The play is mainly very realistic and (put aside jumps of several meters which the characters make, with a gravity of the lunar type…) does not contain whimsical special blows like the majority of the plays of the kind in 2D.

Projections are done with the buttons has + B, the circular blows with B + C, there is many way of being raised after being put at ground according to the character used and are placement, the sequences (combo S) are numerous and can be adapted (a combo can for example end in a high kick (button C) or one sweeping (diagonal low-before + button C): the gameplay is of large a smoothness and invention, and remarkably respects various martial arts which are represented there.
