Its beginnings
Initially refused by various publishers, Baise me is supported by Éditions Florent-Massot, a new editor who does not hesitate to publish a less conventional literature and more “Trash”. Thus is born the first novel from one of the most discussed contemporary writers. It then chooses its pen name in reference to the Pentes of Cross-Russet-red the, district of Lyon in which it lived, before arriving at Paris little time before the publication of Baise me .
Its style
The " scandaleuse" affirm its unpopular and committed style, testifying to a world at various speeds where the social inequalities are added to the sexual Discriminations.Each one of its novels however has a " side flower bleue" , a facet which saves its heroins of the monstrosity, with the image of Gloria, the heroin of Bye-bye Blondie . After seven novels, it attacks in 2006 a new kind, the autobiographical Essai , with King Kong Théorie .
