Virgin Mobile France

Virgin Mobile France is the French division of the mobile telephone operator virtual Virgin Mobile, subsidiary of the group Virgin Group.

Virgin Mobile France is a partnership, spent in April 2006, between Virgin and Omer Telecom aiming at creating a Virtual mobile operator (MVNO) exploiting the network of the operator Orange France, subsidiary of the group France Telecom.

Virgin Mobile was the first launched virtual mobile operator. The mark first of all proposed its services in its country of origin, the United Kingdom before extending in the United States, in Canada, in Australia, in South Africa and France.

Virgin Mobile is the national extension of the partnership between Virgin Group and Omer Telecom since Breizh Mobile is an virtual operator resulting from the same partnership. However, this operator is known as regional and is gravitational only for the inhabitants of Brittany. It counts approximately 100.100 subscribers.

With more than 400.000 customers, Virgin Mobile is the third virtual mobile operator in France, after Tele2 Mobile which have a park of more than 450.000 customers and also after NRJ Mobile which recently asserted 450.000 subscribers.

Omer Telecom being a Subsidiary of The Phone House, Virgin Mobile also profits from this Distribution network. The operator also has partnerships with some trader sites like Cdiscount.com (Casino Group).

In France, Virgin Mobile tied a partnership with Orange (France Telecom group), which enables him to profit from the quality of its infrastructure.
