Viperidae
The Viperidae (or vipéridés ) form a family amongst other things Serpent S including/understanding Vipère S and the Crotale S. One meets the species of this family on almost all the sphere, and they all are of the snakes poisonous.
This family is broken up into four subfamilies:
- Azemiopinae Liem, Marx and Rabb, 1971.
- Causinae Cope, 1859.
- Crotalinae Oppel, 1811.
- Viperinae Oppel, 1811.
Anatomy and biology
All in front of the jaw, vipéridés have long hooks dug of a channel by which the Venin runs out. They are laid out of such way that when the animal opens its mouth, they are raised and are projected automatically ahead.
