Vipassana bhavana
Vipassana bhavana, the development of the higher vision, is a method of Méditation discovered by the Bouddha. It consists with simply paying attention to reality.
Vipassana bhavana is practiced generally sitted, but, while going or lengthened also upright, and supposes a total implication in practice, just like in Samatha bhavana. To look at the things such as they are implies to discover its Pensée S, Sensation S, emotion S, Réaction S, to explore its Conscience by developing the equanimity. Little by little, with the practice, the glance is done more sincere and precise and makes it possible to uncover the illusion which the life is permanent, pleasant and controllable. The awakening that our lived is in perpetual change, is painful and is not subjected to our will leads to a detachment of this world and the realization of the Nirvāna, or nibbana to preserve the faded word.
Vipassana is practiced in the Bouddhisme Theravada, Mahayana and tantrayana. To note that the Zen recommends the practice of Zazen.
Various associations claim to be the heiresses of the practice vipassana of the Buddha. Subject them to the test of the practice to be able to carry your own judgment.
