Alto Bleated Vista is a city Brésil ienne west of the State of Santa Catarina.

Geography

Alto Bela Vista is located by a Latitude of 27º 27 ' 28" south and by a Longitude of 51º 52 ' 44" west, with a Altitude of 395 meters.

Its population was of: 2021 inhabitants with the census of 2007. The municipality extends on 104 km ².

The city is to 503 km in the west of the capital of the State, Florianópolis. It belongs to the Microrégion de Concórdia, in the mésorégion Western of Santa Catarina.

The municipality extends on banks the top Uruguay. It is also crossed by the Rio C Peixe and Rio Rancho Grande. The relief is relatively broken.

The climate is wet, with a temperation annual average of 17,9º C. precipitations rise on average to 1413 mm, unequally distributed per annum during the year.

Its IDH was of 0,795 in 2000 (UNDP).

History

The first colonist to arrive in the area is called Vicente Duarte, which, through the forest, reached in 1888 the mouth of the riacho back Vicentes . The settlement of the zone starts in 1910 in the locality of Volta Grande and in 1912 towards Alto Bleated Vista, with the arrival of colonists of German origin and Italy nne come from the Rio Grande C Sul. These pioneers devote themselves mainly to the Agriculture and the breeding. The district is created in 1953 under the name of Volta Grande , attached to Concórdia. Into 1992, it changes name for that of Viola Bleated Vista and, the July 4th 1995, becomes a municipality with whole share.

Economy

The economy of the municipality is founded on the Agriculture (Maïs and Haricot) and the breeding (Bovin and Porcin, practiced mainly in family small-scale farmings.

Culture and tourism

The principal tourist attraction of the municipality is the Pont Métal lic on the reserve of the hydroelectric factory of Itá. It connects Alto Bleated Vista with Marcelino Ramos in the Rio Grande C Sul. Built in 1913, it measures 458 m length.

The festivals which are celebrated in the city are the following ones:

• on July 4th, the festival of the municipality;
• the “festival of Kerb” ( festa C Kerb in Portuguese), which points out the Germanic traditions of the first immigrants.
