Vinyl
The vinyl is, according to IUPAC (International Union off Pure and Applied Chemistry), the other name which is given to ethényle of following developed formula:
H H | | C=C-R | H
( where R is the remainder of the carbonaceous chain to which the alkyl " vinyle" is attached).
The Polychlorure of vinyl is a plastic very much used. It is obtained by the polymerization of vinyl chloride.
The chloride vinyl is a colorless Gaz prepared starting from the Acétylène, likely to undergo a polymerization under the action of the light or of various catalysts, used in the industry of the plastics, in organic synthesis or like cooling agent.
H Cl \/ C = C /\ H H
R represents a Hydrocarbure or a Halogène.
The most known applications are those of the Disque vinyl or like elastic synthetic floor covering, composed of several layers.
