Vintage of the Trolls
The Cuvée Trolls is a Bière brewed with the Breweries Dubuisson Frères with Pipaix in Wallonia (Belgium) and also by the microphone-breweries Brew-Time of Leuwen-the-New and Mons. Its logo is a small character appearing a Troll in the hair green and the pointed nose.
Characteristics
It is about a Lager, filtered or not filtered, fresh and scented, particularly round and balanced well, and containing 7% of alcohol volume.
It is brewed starting from Moût to which one adds Houblon and dried barks of orange. It is about a high fermentation (temperature of fermentation 23°C during one week). The beer brewed by Brew-Times is not filtered and just not elutriated: there thus remains a little yeast which is been used for the consumer. it is advised to be used it for 3°C.
It is conditioned out of bottle as out of barrel.
History
The Vintage of the Trolls was brewed as from September 2000 in the microphone-brewery Brew-Time creates by Dubuisson the Leuwen-the-New Brewery with . Success was quickly reached in this coed city (one of the reasons of the choice of the establishment) and the Dubuisson brewery launched the Vintage to Wallonia then to Brussels and quickly in Flandres like abroad. The second Brew-Time was created in Mons in 2003 and in 2005 the production reached the 5000 hectolitres.
