Vinnie Colaiuta

Vinnie Colaiuta (born the February 5th 1956) is a beater of Jazz fusion.

Biography

After a passage to prestigious the Berklee College off Music with Boston, it settles with Los Angeles. Is 22 years old, becomes the beater of Frank Zappa until 1981 and very quickly will then be solicited by many artists (Joni Mitchell, Barbra Streisand or Sting) as a musician of studio. Very regularly adulated by the specialized press, Vinnie Colaiuta took part in the recording of innumerable albums and original soundtracks.

In a different register, it took part in the recording of the 10th album of Megadeth: The System Has Failed , left in 2004.
