The Vingeanne is a Rivière is France, tributary of Right Bank of the the Saone, and thus tributary of a tributary of the the Rhone.
The river is born in the department from Haute-Marne, on the Plateau of Langres, in the south-west of Langres. It runs in a general way towards the south and thus reached the department of Coast-in Or. Its valley is used almost entirely by the Canal of the Marne in the Saone. It joins the the Saone on the level of Talmay, small town upstream of the Pontailler-on-Saone.
The Lame of water past in this part (most important) of the catchment area of the river is of 301 millimetres annually, which is enough raised and results from a rather abundant rainfall on this part of the basin. The specific flow (Qsp) is assembled thus at 9,5 liters a second and per square kilometer of basin.
Always with Saint-Maurice-on-Vingeanne, the recorded maximum instantaneous flow was of 61,4 m ³ a second on December 30th, 2001.
In Oisilly, the interannual medium flow of Vingeanne, calculated over 37 years (of 1971 to 2007), is of 6,03 m ³ a second for a surface of basin of 623 km ². The river presents the same seasonal fluctuations of flow as to Saint-Maurice-on-Vingeanne, with winter high waters of 10,0 to 12,5 m ³ from December at March included, and the thin ones of summer, in July - August-September, involving a fall of the monthly medium flow up to 1,5 m ³ on average in August.
The Lame of water past in this part (almost the totality of the catchment area of the river) basin is of 307 millimetres annually. The specific flow (Qsp) is assembled thus at 9,7 liters a second and per square kilometer of basin, that is to say a little bit more than with Saint-Maurice-on-Vingeanne.
Always in Oisilly, the recorded maximum instantaneous flow was of 82 m ³ a second on May 27th, 1983.
