Vineyard of Bonnezeaux

The vineyard of Bonnezeaux is a vineyard of the Val-de-Loire which produces a French Vin marrowy white. This vineyard, classified AOC by the decree of the November 6th 1951 (modified by that of the October 7th 2003), covers a surface of 80 hectares in the commune of Thouarcé (Département of Maine-et-Loire) on Right Bank of the Layon.

It is resulting to 100% from the Chenin and can profit from the action of the Botrytis cinerea . The grains are collected manually with surmaturity by successive sorting. Its dress is gilded and its bouquet develops flavors of flowers and fruits ripe.

The wines of Bonnezeaux age very well out of bottle, some being able even to become centenaries.
