The vine growing is an agricultural activity consisting in cultivating the Vigne in order to produce Raisin.
This grape can be consumed as a Fruit fresh (table grapes) or dried (dryed Grapes) or be in a hurry to manufacture grape juice or Vin by alcoholic Fermentation (wine making). In this last case, one employs specific Cépage S of wine grapes.
The control of a vine is spread out over long years and includes/understands also the production of the Porte-greffe and the Greffon S intended to renew the Plantation S.
The influences of the soil on the vine, the grape and the wine rise from location factors of order ecological (themselves related to the Géologie, with the Pédologie, the landscape and the regional climate), or of order Biologique (type of vine and understock), as well as human factors.
