  • a vessel of trade makes shipwreck to broad Madrague of Giens, on the Presqu'île of Giens (years 75-60 before J. - C.). The wreck, largest of an ancient ship ever found, is discovered in 1967. Its loading, approximately 6000 Amphora S with wine come from the area of Terracina in the south of the Latium and several hundreds of vases with black varnish, were excavated by Patrice Pomey.
