This album was only composed of songs of Jobim and/or Vinícius (in particular: Canção C Amor Demais , Luciana , Estrada Branca , Chega de Saudade , and Outraged Vez ), and João Gilberto intervened there on two tracks. This disc was followed those of Gilberto alone, which made the success of many compositions of the duet.

Years 1960 and 1970

During this time Orfeu Negro , whose original soundtrack was due to Vinícius, Luis Bonfá and Jobim, gained many prices (in particular the Oscar of best foreign film, the Palme of Gold of the Cannes festival…).

Starting from the Years 1960, Vinícius started to collaborate with other Brazilian musicians, already famous or who were going to become it: Carlos Lira, Pixinguinha, Baden Powell, Ary Barroso, Edu Lobo, Francis Hime and especially Toquinho (its most durable partner and its best friend). Its songs Para uma Menina COM uma Flor and Samba da Bênção (composed by Baden Powell) are reproduced on the B.O of a man and a woman of Claude Lelouch in 1966.

The laws on the censure having been reinforced by the military regime, it had to leave its diplomatic functions starting from 1968. It was then put to occur on scene more intensively, in particular at the sides of Toquinho (but also of Joyce, Jobim…), and especially out of Brazil initially.

As regards its properly poetic work, it gave him less the serious one on the end of its life, but did not continue any less to publish, recording discs of poems recited.

It was original very exuberant, into perpetual need for romanticism (it seemed that he remariait all both or three years), an adolescent eternal by which one was astonished with his death that he was already 67 years old.

One can add to his posterity his little girl, Mariana de Moraes, interprets great talent. She takes again the songs of her grandfather in a very personal way and makes discover contemporary type-setters authors with same enthusiasm. An album left in April 2000: E Pecado Sambar.
