Viménil

Viménil is a common French, located in the department of the the Vosges and the area Lorraine.

Its inhabitants is called the finches.

Geography

Viménil gives its name to a brook, known as also the Aurichapelle , left affluent of the Durbion, and which sprinkles its territory and that of Gugnécourt on a course of 6 km.

History

First mention is made village in 1343 pennies the denomination of Waymesnillo .

Viménil belonged to the bailliage of Bruyères and belonged to the round of applause of Dompierre.
