Villerest

Villerest is a common French, located in the department of the the Loire and the area the Rhone-Alps.

The commune of Villerest is located near the agglomeration roannaise. It is located in edge of the the Loire, at the place where the river leaves the throats separating Monts from the Lyonnais and Forez. It is on the commune that is established, since 1982, one of principal stoppings EDF of the river ligérien, the Barrage of Villerest.
