The district of Villeray-Saint-Michel-Park-Extension is multi-most ethnic of the districts montréalais. The residents come from 75 different cultural communities. The communities in importance are the communities Italian, Greek, Portuguese, Vietnamese and Haitian.
French remains the language most usually spoken at the house (by 51% of the residents). The residents of Latin-American origin are rather numerous so that Spanish is the second language in importance.
