October 24th, 2005 takes place the inauguration of the stained glasses of the church Saint Pierre and Saint Paul, created by David Tremlett and carried out by the Master-glassmakers Benoît and Stéphanie Marq. This realization relates to all 24 bay of the church, that is to say a surface of approximately 200 m2. The concept of creation rests, for David Tremlett, on association between architectonic forms and colors. To equip this church with XVe century of contemporary stained glasses falls under the continuity of a tradition firmly anchored out of Champagne-Ardenne. This area is, indeed, one of richest of France in old canopies, as well by the number, as by quality. Moreover, Villenauxe profits from a tourist team of reception presents on all fronts and proposing councils, purchases of memories and information at the time of permanences to the tourist office. During these permanences, demonstrations of art will be also proposed to you. Special information on the stained glasses of the church, which constitute the largest building site of stained glasses of Europe of the century, will be of course available.
