Villemoisan
Villemoisan is a common French, located in the department of Maine-et-Loire and the area Pays of the Loire.
Geography
Of a surface of 2075 hectare, Villemoisan is stretched like a rugby ball at rest of which the largeest diameter of the ellipsoid, directed NS, 3.5km. Three rivers or brooks constitute its limits with the neighbouring communes, in the South, Auxence with the commune of Champtocé and Saint-sigismond; in the East, Rome with the commune of Saint Augustin of Wood; in North, Vernou with the communes of Louroux-Béconnais and Bécon Granites. In the West, the limits with the commune of Sigismond Saint are moins" naturelles". These three brooks or rivers, Vernou, Auxence, Rome and their rus tributary can know very great variations of flows. History
The commune of Villemoisan is created in 1790. This year, it replaces the parish, administrative unit since XIe century. With the exeption of the grounds of Pontron that it PERT with the profit of the commune of Louroux, the limits remain unchanged. Nowadays Villemoisan is one of the seven common ones forming the administrative structure of the community of West-Anjou communes; which makes party of the country of High-Anjou segréen with several other communities of communes.(drawn from the book: memory of Villemoisan, rural household of Villemoisan)

the dolmen of Pontpiau: discovered in 1949, constituted of 19 flagstones whose majority (14 out of 19) are sandstone of a brown gray.

- Commanderie: it is probably about the years 1150 qu ' Commanderie, additional of the temple of St Laud of Angers settled there. It is a witness of the religious rise of XIIe century.
- Priory: it is in 1121 qu ' a priory is established on the ground of Fougeray.
