Villegaignon
Villegaignon is a island pertaining to the town of Rio de Janeiro with the Brésil. It owes its name with Nicolas Durand de Villegagnon, exploring French who tried to establish the French presence in the Baie of Guanabara. It built in bay of Rio de Janeiro, on this island, the Fort-Coligny and created on the coast the borough of Henriville, prefiguration of the town of Rio de Janeiro, before even as the Portuguese do not think of settling there. The whole was called " France the Antarctic ".
