Villedieu-the-Castle is a common French, located in the department of Loir-et-Cher and the area Center.

City-God-in-Beauce became Commune-Be-Supreme, became again City-God-in-Beauce, then Villedieu-the-Castle. The church is transformed into Temple of the Reason. Claude-Nicolas Leclerc was born and was baptized the July 25th 1738, with City-God Beauce, (become Villedieu-the-Castle nowadays). He dies the November 22nd, in Villedieu. Lawyer with the Parliament of Paris, Justice of the Peace, temporary Deputy to the legislative National Assembly (First Republic), Public prosecutor, Deputy with the mountain Convention, the Convention of Gironde, Secretary of the Convention, Appointed with the Council of the the Council of the Five hundred, then Secretary of the the Council of the Five hundred.
