Villebougis

Villebougis is a common French, located in the department of the Yonne and the area Burgundy.

Its inhabitants is called Bogiciens.

It is a flowered commune of level “three flowers” with the Concours of the cities and flowered villages.

The village was initially called the “Bogis Villa” from which it draws its name, as well as the Gentilé of its inhabitants. It also carried in 1801 the name of “Villebouges”.
