In 1587, it made build a Chapelle in Villebon under the invocation of Saints Like and Damien.

In 1611, a fire devastated the castle. Jacques-Auguste de Thou entrusted to Louis Métezeau, Architecte of the king Henri IV his rebuilding, which they do not purrent to finish. The field was then sold in the state in 1626 with André Potier of Novion, President with the Parlement of Paris, which completed the restoration of the castle. His/her son, Nicolas Potier of Novion increases it by two wings. The May 24th 1648, it obtained Archevêque of Paris to set up Villebon in Paroisse, against compensation for the Curé for Palaiseau.
