Viktor Ivanovitch Zherdiév was a pilot of hunting and Soviet As of the Second world war.

Career

• Born in 1920.

• Starshii leitenant (= lieutenant) in 1943, it joined the 16.GuIAP (=régiment of hunting air of the Garde), equipped with P-39 Airacobras , which fights on the face Southern . During the creation of the 4th face (= Group of armies) of Ukraine, its unit there is attached, and consequently takes part in the combat of the Crimea until the end of the be 1944, time to which the 16.GuIAP is transferred to the 1e face of Ukraine . Meanwhile named with the rank of kapitan (= Captain) Viktor Zherdiév was cut down and killed in aerial combat the January 12th 1945.
