Viktor Andriyovitch Iouchtchenko , or Viktor Iouchtchenko (ВікторАндрійовичЮщенко) (born the February 23rd 1954) is an Ukrainian politician . He is the President of the Republic of Ukraine since the January 23rd 2005. He was Prime Minister of end 1999 with 2001 and he is the chief of the political coalition “Our Ukraine” (Nacha Ukrayina) since 2002. He was the principal opponent with the governmental political party, at the time of the presidential election of November 2004, left represented by the First outgoing minister, Viktor Ianoukovitch.

Biography
Iouchtchenko was born in a village from the Oblast from Soumy ( Khoroujivka ), in the family of a teacher. He studied the economy with Ternopil' and then worked as rural accountant in the oblast of Ivano-Frankivsk.
