Vijay S. Pande
Vijay S. Pande (born in 1970) is the person in charge of the project Folding@Home, of research on proteins, the American university of Stanford.
It has off the title of Assistant Professor Chemistry and (by courtesy) off Structural Biology .
It had previously launched Genome@home, to decipher the human genome, project finished on March 8th, 2004.
It received many rewards, in particular TR100 of the Massachusetts Institute off Technology (better innovating young people of 2002), the Frederick E. Terman Fellowship (2002), and a Henry and Camile Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar (2003).
