Vihuela

The vihuela of mano is a popularized String instrument pinches in Spain at the 16th century and which can be regarded as a direct ancestor of the Guitare. The vihuela of mano (played hand) should not be confused with the vihuela of arco (played bow).
One finds some vihuelas in the south of the Italy because of the economic exchanges between Spain and Italy, like in Latin America in consequence of the arrival of the Spaniards on this continent.
