Vigoulet-Auzil

Vigoulet-Auzil is a common French, located in the department of the Haute-Garonne and the area the Midday-Pyrenees. Vigoulet belongs to the community of agglomeration of the Sicoval.

Its inhabitants is called Vigouletains.

Geography

Commune located on the slopes, between Channel of the South, the Garonne and Ariège, to 13 km in the south-east of Toulouse.

History

The commune of Vigoulet-Auzil was born from the fusion of the communes of Vigoulet and Auzil on February 24th, 1842.

The commune accommodates a research laboratory in cosmetic of the company Pierre Fabre, a restaurant aveyronnais, a doctor, a dentist, an esthetic center, an estate agency and an antique dealer. But the main activity of common remains centered around the horse: a jumentery, a horse club and a pony-club. Each year, a horse show gathers many participants come from all the France.
