Vigo is a city of the Province of Pontevedra in Galicia (Spain). It is more the big city of Galicia, without being neither the capital of the autonomous community, nor place chief of province, and it is more the big city of Spain which has the statute of " capitale" , place chief of province. It is located at the edge of the Atlantic Ocean and occupies the first rank of the European fishing ports. The European Union instituté a Community Agence of control of fishings , organization of the Community, equipped with a legal personality and whose seat is in Vigo (OJ L128 of the 21.05.2005).
