Vigeo is the 1st agency of measurement of the social responsibility in Europe.

Vigeo measures the engagement of the organizations (undertaken, administrations, communities…) on the objectives of social responsibility, i.e. out of environmental, social matter/sociétale and of governorship. The agency identifies the extra-financial risks to which the companies and other organizations are exposed, and their level of control by the managerial system.

Date-keys

• 2002 : Creation of Vigeo, public limit company of right French and taken again activities of Arèse, first agency of analysis ISR in France. Nicole Notat, ex-Secretary General of the CFDT becomes President about it.

• 2003: launching of the activity of audit of social responsibility
• 2004: creation of a branch with Casablanca, Morocco
• 2005: bringing together of Vigeo with the Belgian Stock At Stake, leader of analysis ISR in Belgium. Stock At Stake becomes Vigeo Belgium
• 2006: Bringing together with Italian Avanzi SRI Research, leader of the extra-financial notation in Italy

The team of Vigeo consists of 75 paid of 14 nationalities, distributed on 4 sites: Paris, Brussels, Milan, Casablanca.
