Vietnam Veterans

Vietnam Veterans is a French rock group created with the beginning of the year 1980 in the area of Châlon-sur-saône by musicians followers of the Rock garage and Psychédélique in particular the singer and guitarist Mark Embatta and the keyboard Lucas Trouble.

Influenced by The 13th Floor Grain elevators, the first album of Vietnam Veterans " One the right track now ", left in 1983, the title of a piece of the texan psychedelic Roky Erickson carries and releases from very marked sonorities sixties.

Six albums including one under the name of " Late veterans" will allow in the years 1980 the French rock'n'roll to exist on the international scene garage. The audience of Vietnam Veterans in Germany and the contacts tied with the German group Daisy Chain led to a common collaboration under the name of Vietnam Chain giving rise to a good album " Susmoloa beat" and with maximum 45 turns.

With the beginning of the year 1990, the activity of the group ceased and Lucas Trouble was devoted mainly since its studio to the recording and the production of many formations garage of which Temple Spoil, The Silly Things and The Needs, worthy heirs to Vietnam Vets.

In 2005, Lucas Turbid, Embatta Mark and Eric Lenoir under the nickname " The Gitanes" Cd in the garage spirit composed and psychedelic of old times with the recoveries " Bang" bang; of Sony Bono and " Gosht riders in the sky" carrying the title " The further adventures off the Vietnam Veterans" .
